The Creative Center of TikTok now features an AI Ad Script Generator tool

TikTok now offers a new AI-powered tool called the Script Generator, which is available in the Creative Center. This tool is designed to help users create better TikTok video clips by mapping out video concepts based on their prompts.


The Script Generator tool allows you to input your industry vertical, product name, description, and relevant keywords. You can then choose a video length of either 15-30 or 31-60 seconds and generate scripts with the click of a button.


Based on the input you have provided, the system will generate various sample video scripts. Each script will contain a hook, scene, and a call to action, with both audio and visual cues included.


The use of AI to generate TikTok content concepts can be a helpful tool for creators. Even if the generated concepts are not satisfactory, the AI can be run again for more suggestions. However, TikTok advises that any AI-generated content may not be entirely accurate, and the platform itself warns against relying solely on AI-generated content.

AI tools can result in more generic content, as everyone may start posting the same type of stuff based on existing trends. This can make ads less engaging. However, marketers already tend to follow the latest shifts and work the systems to best effect. Therefore, it may be worth considering using AI tools, as it is a cost-free option.
